A Storybook Inn Wedding

Weddings at beautiful, historic ‘A Storybook Inn’ are intimate affairs where family and friends gather in the privacy of the inn setting for a storybook wedding that dreams are made of.

We can customize your wedding to have just the two of you or up to 150+ guests. (If your guest list is 200 or less, statistically, we can still accommodate since usually 40-50% of the guest list are usually unable to attend the day of the wedding.)

Prices and policies for ‘Whole House Rental’ for your special day:

According to wedding giant, "The Knot," last year the average couple spent almost $13,000 on their reception venue alone. Many Central Kentucky wedding venues not far from the inn charge a minimum of $4000.00 for just a site rental fee with no accommodations. So, given other venues, we feel our costs with what we offer at our beautiful award winning inn to be an amazing find!

Because we want to honor your special day, we do not rent out the inn to other guests during the duration of your event (when you book the entire weekend for your wedding party.) It is just for you and your family and friends to celebrate your new beginning. The Bridal Party has all the suites and the guesthouse to themselves for the weekend.

What is included for your wedding at A Storybook Inn.

All suites and 3.5 BR 3.5 BA guesthouse, plus wedding site, reception site, the grounds, plus a full breakfast/brunch in the A.M. for overnight guests staying at the inn. We can provide a site for your rehearsal dinner gratis if you have a whole house rental for the weekend, but catering is not included in the rental price.We do not inflate our accommodation prices for weddings.

• 100-150 guests: $2400 rental fee, plus cost of suites (We do NOT inflate our room rental rates for weddings, for any size wedding.)
• 51-99 guests: $2000 rental fee, plus cost of suites
• 30-50 guests: $1500 plus cost of suites
• 10-29 guests: $1000 plus cost of suites

A $1,500.00 deposit holds your special day. Your date is NOT reserved without the deposit which goes toward the cost of your wedding. Of course, you can go on-line in real time and reserve the entire weekend if you like.

• $1,000. Refundable Damage Deposit paid 90 days prior to wedding. (Refunded in full within two weeks of wedding if no damage is done to property or grounds.) Set up at the inn cannot commence unless the Damage Deposit is paid in full.
• OR, if you elect to buy wedding insurance, and can offer proof and paperwork of same to the inn, the damage deposit will be waived. In order for damage deposit to be waived, the Wedding Insurance must cover the wedding and reception venue (the inn and grounds). Taking out wedding insurance may or may not be much more economical than the damage deposit, and it assures that both parties are covered. "WedSafe" is an example. (The inn has no affiliation with WedSafe or any of the service providers on our vendor list.) Please discuss wedding insurance with a professional to see what would be the best choice for you if you decide to go ths route.

Site Only Usage Option:

• For an early afternoon wedding without use of the inside of the inn, the cost is $2000. site rental fee. This provides a site for the wedding and reception and parking is ONLY for parties up to 80 people. There is a $1000 damage deposit paid 90 days or more prior to the wedding. This is a refundable deposit if there is no damage to the house or grounds caused by the wedding party or guests. The wedding insurance does not apply to this option.

Wedding Tent:

• Some of our brides opt to have a large white party tent for their reception set up on the grounds in proximity to the stone pond and lighted waterfalls for a beautiful evening ambiance. The miniature white lights of the tent and in the nearby trees create a memorable "storybook" experience. Renting a white wedding tent is beautiful and provides a place for a dance floor but doing so is optional.

Elopement Package:

If you would like an elegant or simple elopement package, we can provide that as well. These prices are ONLY good if the couple stays at the inn at least one night.

Choice #1 Includes:
An Officiant with the ceremony performed in our English courtyard, glass conservatory, or beautiful main drawing room between the hours of 1-4 p.m.

• 12-Rose bouquet and single rose boutonniere
• Spa Basket for the bath or shower.
• Small but elegant wedding cake
• Photos, using your camera. (Time limit of 30 minutes)
• Champagne toast in lovely flutes (Plus the remainder of the champagne for later. Sparkling Cider or Grape juice can be substituted if desired.)
• Dark premium chocolate hand dipped strawberries Or Truffles
• An “assistant” on your wedding day for one hour to ensure the ceremony area is set up, the champagne is chilled and your cake has arrived and is set up for the cake-cutting! This person will also ensure that the other guests of the inn respect your moment in time.
• Witnesses (2) or you may provide up to 4 guests/witnesses. (no overnight accommodations are included for guests/witnesses but suites may be rented if desired, subject to availability.)
• Full lovely breakfast for two served in our beautiful conservatory or delivered to your suite.

Cost: $750. Plus cost of bridal suite rental (Somewhere in Time is suggested if available).

Choice #2

For a simple one night elopement package: Only $400. plus the cost of one of our beautiful suite rentals. (Subject to availability)

• An Officiant with the ceremony performed in our English courtyard, glass conservatory, or beautiful main drawing room between the hours of 1-4 p.m.
• Small but lovely Bridal bouquet
• Champagne Toast: Plus the remainder of the champagne for later. Sparkling Cider or Grape juice can be substituted if desired.)
• Dark premium chocolate hand dipped strawberries Or Truffles
• Full lovely breakfast for two served in our beautiful conservatory or delivered to your suite.

Choice #3

A beautiful, private site for your wedding and an Officiant~$150.
We do not provide any extras for this price.
A platinum package (offered on our website of course may be purchased and waiting in your suite.)
