A Huntsman Chase Guesthouse is a 2027-sq-ft Southern Living design that was constructed in 2010.
It has been a wonderfully received addition to A Storybook Inn Bed and Breakfast that guests return to again and again.
Many guests book it a year in advance for the annual Keeneland Meet, either spring or fall or both! This well-designed space has 3 bedrooms and 3 full and one-half baths, a fully equipped kitchen, and a Great Room with a stone fireplace. There is a darling dormer office with a built-in twin bed that guests use for children or as an extra bed for individuals traveling with them.
The covered front porch has a wicker swing and rocking chair seating. There is a large private deck in back through the kitchen with a large table, chairs and a gas grill.
Inside the home, we have a spacious Great Room with an Italian leather sofa and 2 large easy chairs, a floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace with gas logs, custom bookshelves, and a large TV with ROKU, over the mantel.
The kitchen and dining area faces a stunning sunrise view; perhaps the prettiest sunrise view on the property.
There are custom drapes throughout. Private Wi-Fi is available throughout the Guesthouse. Password provided. There is a laundry room on the first floor, as well as a ½ bath. There is a 1st-floor luxury King suite and a tray ceiling, large walk-in closet, thick robes, a large bathroom with a step-in ceramic shower, a granite vanity with double sinks and a large oval whirlpool tub.
Upstairs are 2 queen bedrooms; each with a private bath, with an air whirlpool bath and shower combo. The professional décor is tasteful and soothing. And there is the aforementioned dormer room, that is a separate office/sitting room with a built-in twin bed.
Our multi-course breakfast is included daily in the Conservatory in the main house. And of course, our afternoon snacks are delivered to the Guesthouse daily on a covered silver serving dish. The homemade snack is usually our signature organic filled oatmeal cookies. Guests usually ask for and receive the recipe.
The guesthouse is very private - ideal for honeymooners, anniversaries, families, those Keeneland-bound, or for individuals who just want to get away from it all! You will not want to leave!
